Oh Roseleigh, Won't you come see me, I'll make you a pot of tea here in my garden, Oh won't you come and see me, My dearest Roseleigh, Let's say half past three here in my garden

I'm strolling along Whistling a song I'm getting it wrong The clouds are angry and grey They have been all day In their own moody way I don't need no sky of blue I don't need no postcard scene To get me out and about in this here world I've got my head in the clouds I'm dreaming out loud As I skip around Raindrops fall on my head And I'm going get wet Just like the weather man said I don't need no sky of blue I don't need no postcard scene To get me out and about in this here world I may be the only one thinking I hope the weather man was right today All I really wanna do is walk in the rain Walk in the rain I don't need no sky of blue I don't need no postcard scene To get me out and about in this here world I may be the only one thinking I hope the weather man was right today All I really wanna do is walk in the rain All I really wanna do is Walk in the rain, is all I wanna do today Walk in the rain Walk in the rain Walk in the rain

A lonely jackdaw gives another early morning call to me As I wake up from last night in clear daylight The fresh cut grass in the breeze We used to dream of getting away just you and me So won't you come with me and I'll meet you by the alleyway We'll grab fish and chips for tea Then take a stroll for however far We'll get lost in natures own back yard I'm not gonna call it utopia But its close enough for Come and see, the summertime with me Church bells ring another chorus in perfect harmony When I stare out the open kitchen window The beauty of the world hits me We used to dream of getting away down by the seas So won't you come with me and I'll meet you by the alleyway We'll grab fish and chips for tea Then take a stroll for however far We'll get lost in natures own back yard I'm not gonna call it utopia But its close enough for Come and see, the summertime with me If we watch closely Ever so intently The world in which we all exists In this hazy yellow sunshine mist How glad I am we've not missed this Sunday morning half past yawning On the local village green I see a team of busy working bumble bees Their bumbling amongst the trees We used to dream of getting away just you and me So won't you come with me and I'll meet you by the alleyway We'll grab fish and chips for tea Then take a stroll for however far Lets get lost in natures own back yard I'm not gonna call it utopia But its close enough for Come and see, the summertime with me In the summertime time The grass is green and the weather is fine In the summer days Lets get lost and drift away In the summertime In the summertime We used to dream of getting away Trip to the seas so far away We used to dream just you and me Lets go and see what we can see We used to dream of getting away Trip to the seas so far away We used to dream just you and me Lets go and see what we can see

It's late in the evening I wait for her ringing But the call doesn't come for me I still believe in the songs that we were singing How they seemed to set us free There's no rhyme or reason for changes in the season Mother Nature is reality Another sunset doesn't mean so much to me She left me rocking' and a reeling' I was day dream believing She was the girl for me But nobody told her Nobody told her Nobody told her Nobody told her Well it's the last throws of autumn and stuck in the doldrums I need a change of scenery I should have told her with a silent whisper How she would complete me With the change in the season comes no rhyme or reason Just eventuality Another footstep, I could never let things be She left me rocking' and a reeling' I was day dream believing She was the girl for me But nobody told her Nobody told her Nobody told her Nobody told her

All the leaves are falling down upon the ground today He thought it best he write to say That ever since she had been gone his days drag on and on Had nothing better to do but wait Would she read his letter? His hope dwindled in the night She was a very extraordinary significant part of his old life Yes she was a very extraordinary, superlatively elegant type oh yeah Superlatively elegant type oh yeah He popped the letter there into the envelope He licked the queens head was on his way Rushing to the postbox in his dressing gown He hadn't been dressed for many days Would he send another letter Optimistically he said he might She was a very extraordinary significant part of his old life Yes she was a very extraordinary, superlatively elegant type oh yeah Superlatively elegant type oh yeah Picnic in the park with strawberry tart Filled with songs that the birds would sing Evening walks sharing each others thoughts Thinking what the future may bring His future had just gone up in a cloud of smoke With little children lagging out the back In the garden where he often used to spend his days With the girl who wasn't;t coming back Did she ever think about him She may have, surely she might She was a very extraordinary significant part of his old life Yes she was a very extraordinary, superlatively elegant type oh yeah Superlatively elegant type oh yeah

Love is the word, is the word, have you heard? A colour, a chord, some call it absurd I found love yesterday I can't tell you how it occurred Four little letters a sweet interlude Comes from the heart not to be misconstrued Love found me yesterday Now this morning is a whole different world L.O.V.E I'm in love and I feel fine L.O.V.E And now your love has blown my ind L.O.V.E I've been waiting all my life For such a feeling to arrive Love can sleep tight in the blackness of night Then rise and shine in the morning light Love found me yesterday Now I'm looking through kaleidoscope eyes Love is a word, is a word have you seen A sound or feeling some call it obscene Love hit yesterday and I can't tell you how it occurred Four little letters, four letters that spell out a word L.O.V.E I'm in love and I feel fine L.O.V.E And now your love has blown my ind L.O.V.E I've been waiting all my life For such a feeling to arrive It hurts me just to say, to say how much I really hope you stay Stay by my side I found love and it's true, I can't remember a time without you girl By my side Love is the word Love is the word

When she wakes up in the morning Her world comes tumbling down On her face she paints a smile To hide the pain inside Memories they made together Like dancing in the pouring rain Nothing ever last forever Things will never be the same Catching the morning sun Before the day is done Seasons may change but the world remains Autumn falls hard in this town so strange Catching the morning sun When another day is dawning She only hears a silent sound In her mind she paints a picture To block the tears that she cries Nothing ever last forever Things will never be the same Memories they made together Like dancing in the pouring rain Catching the morning sun Before the day is done Seasons may change but the world remains Autumn falls hard in this town so strange Catching the morning sun

Stood underneath an umbrella Just waiting for some mid-day sun Shine breaking through the clouds above Takes me back to where it begun Saw your head in a novella Set in London, 1961 Forgive can I share your park bench You smiled and then you read on We didn't know where it was going it makes me happy looking back all the same Like Fred and Ginger Like Terry and Julie As day follows night I love you truly Like birds and the bees Like the best of friends It is you and me until the very end Oh my friends said you should her I laughed I only met her yesterday Felt like the start of something special It doesn't happen every day Hey there where's your umbrella She turned to me there on day two Of us could share your shelter here If you've nothing better to do We didn't know where it was going it makes me happy looking back all the same Like Fred and Ginger Like Terry and Julie As day follows night I love you truly Like birds and the bees Like the best of friends It is you and me until the very end This is the story this is how it was told We'll still tell it when we're grey and old Lets reminisce of the very day Tell me what do you say This is the story this is how it began Girl meets boy Boy turns into a man Lets reminisce of that very day That very day was my very best day

There were times when I thought we were dreaming, But girl now you have us believing, Believing in the love that you bring, Lola Emmeline A beautiful autumn breeze or a bird song, Whistling through the trees, Compared to you they don't matter to me, Lola Emmeline, We're happy just to sit here watching, wishing and waiting, As adventure fills your mind and you share it with everyone close to me, You don't need no plans, Just see how life pans, Keep smiling with your eyes and be happy, Keep laughing the whole day through, They say that nothing lasts forever, But they don't know what we feel for you, And if I ever go on too much well please don't be confused, Cos' deep down I would do anything for you My love don't have no conditions, Just me be, When the sunsets early evening, And sparkles on the green sea, Next to you they don't matter to me, Lola Emmeline, Safe here in our heart is where you've been ever since the start, You took your place next to Genevieve, Lola Emmeline, We're happy just to sit here watching, wishing and waiting, As adventure fills your eyes and you share it with everyone close to me, You don't need no plans, Just see how life pans, Keep smiling with your eyes and be happy, Keep laughing the whole day through, They say that nothing lasts forever, But they don't know what we feel for you (What we feel for you), Keep smiling with your eyes and be happy (Eyes and be happy), Keep laughing the whole day through (Laughing with you), They say that nothing lasts forever, But they don't know what we feel for you,

If it don't work out, you know where I'll be Waiting for the phone to ring, you can count on me Even though, I can't bear to let you go I'll send you both my best whilst I hope it isn't so The sun has gone it's been so long Ever so long, ever so long I don't know if you're coming back again I don't know what it is, that I did so wrong But I hope, you know, the flowers in my garden they won't grow If you don't see me, I'm hidden under eiderdown Ever since you made that call it's like the death of this here clown And even though, my heart says don't let go I'm filled with deep regret for these things I can't unknowingly The sun has gone it's been so long Ever so long, ever so long I don't know if you're coming back again I don't know what it is, that I did so wrong But I hope, you know, the flowers in my garden they won't grow The sun has gone it's been so long Ever so long, ever so long I don't know if you're coming back again I don't know what it is, that I did so wrong But I hope, you know, the flowers in my garden they won't The flowers in my garden they won't The flowers in my garden they won't grow

Bathley Street, you were my very first street, oh Bathley Bathley Street, my very first street The place I learnt to walk on my own two feet The big iron gates adorned the library Whilst noise filled the air from the factory In the schoolyard where we would play Mr. Jones the caretaker, he would say Go and sling your hook or I'll ring your dad Then we smashed a window and we ran like made I'm not longing for a place Just reminiscing about a time A time I cherish in my mind Oh Bathley Street, how I love you Bathley Street, an overcrowded street Old ladies queuing up for their pound of meat Big wooden doors to the factory No noise said the sign in the library Everyday we'd hear our neighbours shout And the chimes from Little John would be ringing out Not the sort of place for a quiet life But you could count on anybody day or night I'm not longing for a place Just reminiscing about a time A time I cherish in my mind Filled with people I once knew Oh Bathley Street, how I love you Our love, is like the flowers out the back We grow together at the right time In the Meadows sunshine Weathering the storms Fondly looking back Me Mama and Grandad took me down to the pub On the summer nights when I'd been good Locals slung me change as I sat by the phone I sung won't you show me the way to go home Sunday morning we'd all take a stroll Walking our Misty to the bridge with a toll Then wed'd head back for me mam's roast beef Passing by the place I lost my two front teeth I'm not longing for a place Just reminiscing about a time A time I cherish in my mind Filled with people I once knew Oh Bathley Street, how I love you Oh Bathley Street, you were my very street Oh Bathley Street

Summer, always seem to be a passing phase Blue skies, a moment later, we're stuck in the shade When it comes to us my darling We're safe within our nest Come rain or shine or snowfall What we've got, always beats the rest Autumn, is the place I wish we could always stay A new dawn, on th path as we make our way When it comes to us my darling We're safe within our nest Come rain or shine or snowfall What we've got, always beats the rest I am the one that leaves on the landing light You are the one that leaves the milk out at night But life just keeps getting better We greet each other saying do you want a cup of tea I look at you and you look back at me But life just keeps getting better Better, better, better, better, better Summer, always seem to be a passing phase Blue skies, a moment later, we're stuck in the shade When it comes to us my darling We're safe within our nest Come rain or shine or snowfall What we've got, always beats the rest Sometimes the kids make it hard to think We always hope that the other one makes a drink But life just keeps getting better You count the pennies saying we've not a lot to spend I make a list of the things in the house to spend But life just keeps getting better I am the one that leaves on the landing light You are the one that leaves the milk out at night But life just keeps getting better We dread the question what shall we have for tea I look at you and you look back at me But life just keeps getting better Better, better, better, better, better

Out walking on a winter's morning A few degrees below 8am Saw the sun as it was shining Gonna wait till it goes down again I believe in a new tomorrow I believe in a brand new day I believe hope springs eternal I believe in the things I say But I'm gonna wait for another day Gonna find myself a dissed cottage A place where I can go and rest my head A place where I can get some golden slumber Till I'm ready for this world again I believe in a new tomorrow I believe in a brand new day I believe hope springs eternal I believe in the things I say I believe the world keeps on turning I believe night follows day But I'm gonna wait for another day Give me some peace on earth Its the only thing that I've ever dreamt of Juts sitting watching time roll on by I hope someone hears my cry I believe in a new tomorrow I believe in a brand new day I believe hope springs eternal I believe in the things I say I believe the world keeps on turning I believe night follows day But I'm gonna wait for another day

Time 02:48
Time waits for no one And no one should ever be mastered, mastered by time Time could be a figment Of your imagination but there's nothing better than time So don't let the hours just drift away Use all your time Don't waste the seconds or minutes That make precious time Cos' everybody's growing older That is the nature of time If only there was a solution to have more time Time waits for no one And no one should ever be mastered, mastered by time Time they says a healer But healing is not what we need, we just need more time When you come to the end there is nothing that you can take with you When you come to the end you will only be asking for time If you offered me flowers or diamonds Endless gifts or material things I would not need any of it I'd only want time

Rainmaker 05:11
Sat upon your hillside high Looking up time rolls on by But the world it seems to want to escape you Then you cast your shadow in the way the you do Wondering why the world doesn't spin for you Never stopping for a moment to ask why And should that ray of light shine through You raise your hand Make your demands The thunder calls Then the rain falls Rainmaker gotta be someone else Rainmaker gotta love yourself Rainmaker please let go Come join the beautiful people way down below Way down below Perched up on your mountain top You just don't know how to stop It doesn't always have to be this way Lurking in the shadows you've nothing else to do Can't you see the world doesn't long for you Doesn't long for the day you make your play And should the light fall upon you You raise your hand Make your demands The thunder calls Then the rain falls Rainmaker gotta be someone else Rainmaker gotta love yourself Rainmaker please let go Come join the beautiful people way down below Way down below

Oh Roseleigh Won't you come and see me I'll make a pot of tea and we'll sit in my garden Won't you come and see my and we can be so care free Let's say half past three here in my garden Oh Roseleigh Won't you come and see me I'll make a pot of tea and this could be your garden So won't you come and see my and we can be so care free Let's say half past three here in my garden

Just A Dream 07:10
I lost my way I lost my way in the universe I just gave up trying To make my way back home I lost my faith I the way that a brand new dawn It never stopped me from crying It never stopped me at all Could she help me figure out? Just what it means to be To be so free And then she turned to me and set me free She told me I'm not what I seem Is this all just a dream? A dream to me I found some hope In the stars in the sky at night An ever-changing story Without an ending that's known I heard a voice Heard a voice from another world It begged me to keep finding A way to hold on to hope Could she help me figure it out? Just what it means to be To be so free And then she turned to me and set me free She told me I'm not what I seem Is this all just a dream? A dream to me What is this life This life we live my love How can it be The love we give is just enough This everchaging life This life in which we live in Just what it means to be To be so free And then she turned to me and set me free She told me I'm not what I seem Is this all just a dream? A dream to me

Seasons come and season pass I hope the next one really lasts Time is ticking as time moves on So I sing this little song for you Autumn will come soon Autumn will come soon Soon the cocks will be turning back If only our time could do that Time is drifting on and on So I sing this little song for you Autumn will come soon Autumn will come soon Seasons fade but memories remain We have to hope that we'll still feel the same Time is trickling on and on So I sing this little song for you Autumn will come soon Autumn will come soon
